Kathrine Jacobsen has a background as a dancer, dance teacher and a choreographer. She is based in Oslo, Norway where she alongside teaching works project based with dance, focusing on choreography and dance film.
Kathrine received a master of arts in dance studies at NTNU as well as a postgraduate diploma in choreography at Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia. She has a BA in dance and teaching from the University of Stavanger, Institute for Music and Dance and a dance certificate from Dance New Amsterdam in New York, USA.
